Insurance

Franklin Physiotherapy Ltd clinicians are recognised by most major insurance companies.

Please note that only AXA Health and Aviva clients will have their invoices sent directly to their insurance company when treatment has been authorised. Clients that use other insurance providers will need to settle their bill at the time of treatment and claim the money back directly through their insurance company using the receipt provided.

AXA Health and Aviva clients – your insurance membership number and authorisation code is required ahead of your treatment. Failure to provide this will result in the invoice needing to be settled personally at the time of treatment at the standard rate. Please note that if you are attending either the SJP Beauty or The Clinic Burton practices, you will need to inform your insurance company which venue you will be attending. This has implications for billing, as AXA Health and Aviva will require the individual clinicians details for their invoice to be processed accurately.

Authorisation codes cover the standard 30 minute appointments. Should you have multiple injuries and wish to book a longer session you will require an authorisation code per each area of the body to be treated. For example, you are not able to use the same code twice in one day to cover a 60 minute appointment.

Cancellations

The clinic has a strict 24 hour cancellation policy – appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the start time will incur an invoice for the full fee of the appointment. The same policy is in place for failure to attend your appointment. This fee cannot be claimed through your insurance policy.
